前言

  雪龙船隶属于中国极地研究中心。从1993年运行至今,已先后完成了9次南极、2次北极科学考察和后勤保障工作。
 
  在12年次运行中,雪龙船为中国和美国、日本、韩国、俄罗斯、芬兰等7个国家科学考察提供服务。其间进行了多次南极后勤保障的合作,帮助俄罗斯、韩国等国家运送后勤补给物资。
 
  我们将致力于通过为世界各国南极科学考察人员提供优良的服务和安全优质的平台,为人类和平利用南极作贡献。
 
  在今后两年中,雪龙船将进行全方位改造,全面提升科学研究和后勤保障能力。欢迎各国科学家和后勤保障人员来雪龙船工作!

 

Preface


MV XUE LONG is owned and conducted by Polar Research Institute of China, From 1993 to 2005, this vessel have completed 9 cruises to the Antarctic , 2 cruises to the Arctic for scientific research expedition and re-supply.
 
For 12 years MV XUE LONG have provided service mainly for Chinese National Arctic and Antarctic research expeditions, incidentally for American, Japanese, South Korea, Russian and Finnish national research expeditions. It helped to re-supply goods and materials for Russian and South Korea Antarctic Station.
 
We will commit ourselves to ensure the every cruise by MV XUE LONG is safe, comfortable so that you can complete your work as planned. We hope we will make the great contribution to the peaceful utilization on the Antarctica for the humanity.

In the next two years, the overall re-establishment of this vessel will be completed in order to increase the capability of research investigation and logistics support.You are welcome to board MV XUE LONG to the Arctic and Antarctic!

 

 

雪龙船简介


  雪龙船是1993年3月25日,由乌克兰赫尔松船厂建造下水的极地运输船,经过初步的改造成为我国目前唯一的极地科学考察破冰船,是极地科考的后勤支撑和科研保障平台。雪龙船的总排水量21250吨,船长167米,宽22.6米,满载吃水9米,最大续航能力为12000海里。最大航速17.9节,抗风能力为12级以上,能以2节的速度连续破1.2米厚的冰(含20cm的雪)。核定乘员128人。
 
  一切服务于科考,一切服从于科考是雪龙船的根本宗旨。努力将雪龙船建设成为我国极地科学考察提供良好优质服务平台,是我们的管理目标。
 
  船上拥有较为齐备的导航仪器设备和气象观测设备。为船舶的安全航行和科学考察提供服务。
 
  全船拥有:数据处理中心、低温样品库、低温培养室、洁净实验室、海洋生物实验室、海洋化学实验室、地质实验室、CTD绞车、生物绞车、地质绞车及EK-500浅剖仪等200平方米的8个标准实验室和基本实验设施,为科考需要提供服务。另外,雪龙船还备有三条工作小艇和一架直升机,除了完成极地运输外,还可根据需要为科考提供全方位的立体服务。
 
  在船的生活区还设有游泳池、健身房、图书室、卡拉OK设备、洗衣房,定时开放,为海上工作、生活、娱乐提供方便。
 
  全船拥有大小三个餐厅,分别位于新、老区的主甲板和上一层甲板,全体队员按指定的场所就餐。

A Brief Introduction of the MV XUE LONG


 
The MV XUE LONG, built originally as a cargo ship of polar region by Kherson Shipyard,Ukraine on March 25,1993, became the only research ice-breaker in China after elementary modification in 1994,for the Arctic and Antarctic regions.It is the re-supply vessel and the scientific research platform of the Chinese Arctic and Antarctic research expeditions. The vessel is 167meters long and 22.6meters beam,with the full-loaded draft of 9 meters, the full-loaded displacement of 21,250 tons,and the cruising radius of 12,000nautical miles. It is an A2-class ice-breaker with capability of Breaking ice 1.2m(including 0.2m thick snow) at a sailing speed of 2kn, and can sail with the maximum speed of 17.9 knots, and also sail even during the weather of gale with more than 12 B scale. The maximum number of berths is 128.
 
The aim of the vessel is serving and fulfilling the needs of polar science.All the great efforts and administrative measure is taken to ensure that the vessel is the safe,efficient and high-quality platform for the Chinese Arctic and Antarctic research expeditions.
